The scene shows an older male figure holding a yo-yo in front of a young boy who raises both arms in anticipation. Both wear the typical dress of the region: chitoniskos (knee-length dress), chlamys (cloak) and boots or sandals. At the right bottom edge of the scene, is the painted stylised figure of a herm that alludes to Hermes Psychopompos.
