Thomas Draghetti is a second-year MPhil student in Classical Archaeology at the University of Oxford, having earned his BA in Classics from La Sapienza University in Rome. He is currently working on his Master’s dissertation exploring the living spaces of Coptic monks in Late Antiquity through a phenomenological lens. His academic interests lie in the Late Antique and Early Byzantine periods: more specifically, he focusses on Christian rituals, iconography, church architecture, and material re-use. Additionally, he is committed to engaging with a broad variety of sources and media, such as archaeological material, manuscripts, and inscriptions.
