Academic Background

I have been fellow and tutor in Classics at Exeter College since 2016. Before that I was a departmental lecturer in Latin, and a JRF at New College. Before that I was a student, first at St Hugh’s, later at Brasenose.

Research Interests

I work on philosophical texts written in Latin (Lucretius, Cicero, Seneca), from literary, linguistic, and philosophical perspectives. I’m also interested in Latin didactic poetry, from Lucretius to Avienius.
