My studies have focused on the Greek and Latin lyric tradition (broadly considered) from Archaic Greece up through the European Renaissance. My dissertation looks at the role of form in that tradition as deployed by George Buchanan in his Latin paraphrases of the Psalms. I'm generally interested in questions of tradition and reception.
