My current research is the natural progression of my undergraduate dissertation: 'A Revised Chronology of the Early Life, Manumission, and Service of M. Tullius Tiro', which re-evaluated the traditional chronology of the life of Tiro, Cicero's servus and later libertus, displaying it to be corrupted.  In light of a far younger Tiro, how are we to consider this famously 'collegiate' relationship between servus and dominus?  My current research is examining the ramifications of a 'quasi-paternal' interpretation.
