My doctoral project is about the reception of Lucretius after c.1900 with a particular focus on poetry and poetics. I am funded by a Wolfson Scholarship at The Queen's College and co-supervised by Professor Constanze Güthenke and Dr Barnaby Taylor.
Before starting the DPhil, I read first for a BA in Classics and English at Exeter College and then an MSt in Classical Languages and Literature at Trinity College. My academic interests beyond the thesis and classical reception more broadly include metre, textual criticism, hymnody, and language pedagogy.
