Broadly speaking, my interests stretch from Augustan to late antique Latin poetry. My MPhil thesis examines aesthetic trends in late antiquity, focusing in particular on the poetry of Ausonius and Sidonius Apollinaris and comparing their poetics with the art and architecture of the time. By investigating how certain stylistic preferences permeate the artistic output of this period and exert mutual influences beyond the boundaries of a single art form, I aim to shed further light on the culture and thought of the late antique latin west. Beyond this, I am interested in archeology, textual criticism, narratology, metapoetics, and ekphrasis
