The Faculty of Classics warmly congratulates Dr Arlene Holmes-Henderson, Research Fellow in Classics Education, on her appointment as an University of Oxford Policy Leader. Dr Holmes-Henderson will act as the Humanities Division champion for policy engagement and will take a leading role in the development of the Oxford Policy Engagement Network. Within the Faculty of Classics, she will build colleagues’ capacity to communicate their research to policymakers and will improve access for the policymaking community to the best available research evidence and expertise. As the holder of a Research and Public Policy Partnership with the Department of Education, and a TORCH Knowledge Exchange Fellow, she is ideally placed to do so. We wish Arlene every success in this important role.
