In the most recent Recognition of Distinction exercise at Oxford, three members of the Faculty were made Professors: Katherine Clarke becomes a Professor of Greek and Roman History, Bruno Currie becomes Professor of Greek Literature and Maria Stamatopoulou becomes Professor of Classical Archaeology. The Faculty warmly congratulates these celebrated scholars, and is delighted at their achievement.
