Dr Sarah Cullinan Herring shortlisted for the Vice Chancellor’s EDI award

The faculty are delighted to announce that Dr Sarah Cullinan Herring has been shortlisted for the Vice Chancellor’s EDI award in recognition of our faculty seminar on Taboos and Transitions which took place in Michaelmas Term.2023.

There were seven projects shortlisted in the EDI category and they received 250 nominations across all the categories.  This is a very significant achievement, and a hugely well-deserved tribute to Sarah’s energy, imagination, and hard work in putting together such a fantastic series.

The award ceremony with the Vice Chancellor, Irene Tracey will take place on Wednesday 8th May from  2.30-3.45 in the Sheldonian where the winners will be announced.
You can also visit the associated Awards Showcase Exhibition in the Weston Library:

The Awards Showcase Exhibition will take place at the Weston Library Tuesday 7th May to Thursday 9th May 2024.

This is a University-wide opportunity for everyone to drop in and engage with the shortlisted projects and activities across Oxford, and to find out more about all the award-winning projects (not just the Taboos and Transitions seminar).
