The Faculty is delighted to announce the appointment of Simon Malloch as Bowra Fellow and Tutor in Classics at Wadham College and Professor of Latin Language and Literature.
Among Simon’s interests are Roman historiography (especially Tacitus), the history and editing of Latin texts, and the history of scholarship. He currently teaches Latin language and literature and Roman history at the University of Nottingham, where he is Professor of Classics. Simon will join us on 1 October 2025.
