Alaudae Volumes 1-3

Alaudae Volumes 1 - 3 have now been published

Published to celebrate the bicentenary of Ulrichs' birth in 1825, this three-volume edition contains the full Latin text of Alaudae alongside a translation and contextualising notes. 

For the first time, more than just a handful of readers will be able to study, enjoy and become acquainted with one of the seminal works by Karl Heinrich Ulrichs. Many have been able to read his works in German, but not in Latin. This annotated, easy-to-read translation will satisfy scholars, educators, researchers, historians, activists and biographers hungry to learn more about the life and work of Ulrichs.  The links to order each volume are below.

Volume 1 contains the 1st to 15th issues from 1889 to 1890

Volume 2 contains the 16th to 25th issues from 1891 to 1892
