'My research is wide-ranging, but mainly focuses on modernist readings and translations of Greek and Latin literature, with a special interest in the works of Pound, HD and Eliot. I am also interested in the relationship between classical scholarship, imperialism and nationalism in Britain in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries: I am currently writing on nineteenth century British editions of the Agricola.'
