My dissertation examines the manuscript tradition of Cicero's Brutus. I evaluate the importance of the Cremona Fragment and its relationship to the archetype. I also seek to establish the relationships among the fifteenth-century descendants of the Codex Laudensis (L), and to draw conclusions as to which manuscripts should be used in the reconstruction of L.
