Specimen Papers

Here you can download past versions of the Classics Admissions Test (CAT), which is made up of (i) unseen translations from Latin Prose and Verse (for Course IA and IB candidates); (ii) unseen translation from Greek Prose and Verse (for Course IA and IC candidates); and (iii) the Classics Language Aptitude Test (CLAT) (for Course II candidates).

For each past version of the CAT, we include here an informal guide to the answers only for the CLAT (directly underneath each test).
