Scholarships for Researchers

Applications are invited for scholarships attached to the ‘Social and Cultural Construction of Emotions’ research project funded by the European Research Council (ERC).

The recipients will work for the Emotions project as Junior Researchers. Applications can be submitted both by scholars with academic appointments and without current academic appointment. The scholarships can vary in duration within the period from 1 June to 31 December 2013, and are not renewable.

The Researchers will complete a study (article, book chapter, book) related to the subject of the project and co-operate with the Principal Investigator, Professor Angelos Chaniotis, contributing to the project’s database and bibliography and attending workshops. Applicants must have completed a PhD dissertation and have research experience and substantial publication record in at least a field of Ancient Studies (Ancient History, Classical Literature, Classical Archaeology, Epigraphy, Papyrology).
