The Grotto of the Seven Sleepers, Ephesus
According to local legend, this cave was where 7 Ephesians slept for centuries; when they awoke and emerged, it was regarded as miraculous and the cave was built into a church. The cavities in the floor are tombs - the Seven Sleepers, among others, were buried here.
