Professor Stephan Steingräber, (University of Rome III): 'Five centuries of Etruscan painting, 700-200 BC: recent discoveries and research'.
The David Lewis Lecture, Wed 23rd May, 5pm:
Dr Charalampos Kritzas, (Director Emeritus of the Epigraphical Museum, Athens): 'Reflections of historical events in the new texts from the archive of Pallas at Argos (first half of the 4th century BC)'.
The Gaisford Lecture, Thu 24th May, 5pm:
William St Clair: 'Looking at the Athenian Acropolis from modern times to antiquity'.
The above lectures are to be held at the Ioannou Centre for Classical and Byzantine Studies, in Trinity term 2012. All are welcome.
