Second Classical Language: Prose: Plato and Herodotus
Candidates will be required (i) to translate two passages, one from each of the prescribed texts, and (ii) to translate into English one unseen passage of Greek.
Texts: Plato, Symposium 189c-end; Herodotus I.1-94
