Privacy Notice and Cookies
The use of Cookies and related Technologies on this website
What is a Cookie?
Cookies are small text files containing a string of characters that are placed on your computer/laptop or mobile device by websites that you visit.
When you visit the website again, the cookie allows that website to recognise you. Cookies may store user preferences and other personal information and in other cases perhaps simply a session identifier is stored
to track unique visitors to the website but no personal information.
You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some website features or services may not function properly without cookies.
Not all websites put a cookie on your computer but these days many do for a number of reasons. Sometimes the cookie only stays on your computer for the time that you are on the website these are
known as session cookies and are generally necessary in order for the website to function correctly. These cookies are deleted when you close
your browser.
Most web browsers allow some control over the use of cookies through the browser settings. To find out more about cookies, including how to see what cookies have been
set and how to manage and delete them, see www.allaboutcookies.org
Session Cookies

Preference Cookies
Other cookies may be stored on your computer for long periods of time and may store information that helps identify you the next time you return to a
particular website. These can be useful for example to save the various selections you have made to customise a website for your personal preference.
This website does not use these type of cookies.
Web Analytics Cookies
Another type of cookie falls under the category of web analytics/metrics. These cookies store information about the web pages poeple have visited, where visitors came from etc.
These type of cookies do not identify the individual but collect the information in an anonymous, aggregated way. These type of cookies help website owners improve
the usability/functionality of the website and are commonplace today. Google Analytics is an example of one such technology that uses cookies to track this type of information. We do not currently use these types of cookie but may do so in the future.
You can opt out of being tracked by Google Analytics across all websites by visiting: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
Third Party Cookies
There are other types of cookie which are placed on your computer by websites that track where you have been, what searches you may have done on a website for the purposes
of marketing/advertising. We do not set these types of cookie at all from our own website however you may see a cookie from openstreetmaps if you visit a page on our website that uses
openstreetmaps and you then click on a link to "view larger map".
A Third Party Cookie is one such as placed by Google AdSense, AdWords and Analytics. These cookies are set by a domain other than the one being visited by the user, but are placed through the website being visited.
Our Search page uses a Google custom search function which stores a cookie set by google. You will be asked whether you want to accept this or not.
