Classics Video Clips (to aid with the teaching of Classics at secondary school level)

Graduate student and former teacher Tom Mackenzie ( has produced a series of educational video clips to aid with the teaching and learning of Classics at secondary school level. They feature several renowned academics discussing set texts for the Classical subjects at GCSE and A level, as well as some topics of more general interest. It is hoped that these will prove a useful resource for teachers in the classroom, as well as aiding pupils with independent revision.

The videos were created as part of the ‘Communicating Ancient Greece and Rome’ project, run by the Oxford-based APGRD (Archive of Performances of Greek and Roman Drama), and funded by the AHRC. They were shot and edited with the kind help of Oxford University’s Educational Media Services unit.
