Classics Outreach Volunteers
Classics Faculty has a flourishing outreach programme. Undergraduate and graduate
students are encouraged to get involved, for example by
- - Assisting at open days
- - Giving
tours of Oxford
- - Giving
tours of the Ashmolean Museum’s Greco-Roman galleries
- - Providing coin and object handling sessions with coins
- - Participating
in school visits
- - Teaching
on the Literacy through Latin and Greek scheme
- - Teaching
at the East Oxford Community Classics Centre
- - Tutoring/Mentoring on the UNIQ Classics, Classical Archaeology
& Ancient History Summer Schools, and East End Classics Summer School
You can also get involved in designing and delivering workshops on Classics, these will be paid at an hourly rate and you will need to complete a 'Right to Work' check.

UNIQ Summer School 2016
UNIQ team have opened up recruitment for UNIQ summer school mentors and site
managers to work on the UNIQ summer school 2016. They are looking for mentors
and managers with a classics background, in particular CAAH and AMH.

let them know whether they have been short-listed or not.
Short-listed candidates will be invited to attend a selection
centre. These have been planned in the evening to avoid clashes with the
academic timetable. Applicants should make sure they are able to attend
